Both the Arte Povera and Transavanguardia opened to a complex relationship with history.

The exhibition Arte Povera, Transavanguardia and contemporary fluctuations on view at the Galleria Enrico Astuni Bologna from February 2nd to April 4th 2015, presents works of the last four decades by ten masters in the history of Italian art. The revolutionary instances and the broken of the language typical of Arte Povera are juxtaposed to the effective freedom and fluidity characteristics of the Transavanguardia, together with the exemplariness of the unique languages of Carla Accardi, Aldo Mondino and Luigi Carboni.
